Examines the fundamentals of tourism within the hospitality, sport, and leisure industry. The initiation and management of the commercial recreation and tourism enterprises as well as the status, operations, trends, and opportunities in hospitality are emphasized. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Discuss the historical and current dimensions and components of tourism and commercial leisure enterprises. 2. Evaluate the environmental, social-cultural, and economic impacts of the hospitality and tourism related industries. 3.
