This course is intended to advance students in operation and maintenance of high pressure boilers and to help them meet state of Minnesota requirements for best practices in operation and maintenance of high pressure boilers. The student must have two thousand hours of operation or equivalent class room training established by the Minnesota Chief Boiler Inspector. Students will also need to accumulate additional hours to meet state requirements to sit for the Minnesota 2A boiler license exam. Students must be able to perform physical tasks to complete course requirements. This course requires Minnesota's Special Engineers License to meet state boiler division requirements.
