Students in law enforcement, criminal justice, and other public safety areas will study how to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to case studies to conduct a critical review of real events. Topics will include the processes and structures of an organization and/or investigation to address deficiencies or gaps and how to address the deficiencies or gaps. The student will present a written and oral brief that demonstrates the mastery of the critical thinking and analytical skills. Prerequisite(s): CJS 2011 or instructor consent.
