In this course students will work in one or more areas of theatre production to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in areas such as lighting, sound, costuming, scenery, properties, stage management, house management, or other areas of stage production. By arrangement, students may work in a variety of areas such as scene shop, costume shop, light booth, or auditorium. Students must be able to perform physical tasks to complete course requirements. Students may take this course up to four times and receive academic credit. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor prior to accepting an assignment. Recommendations: Course placement into college-level English and Reading OR completion of ENGL 0950 with a grade of C or higher OR completion of RDNG 0940 with a grade of C or higher and qualifying English Placement Exam OR completion of RDNG 0950 with a grade of C or higher and ENGL 0090 with a grade of C or higher OR completion of ESOL 0051 with a grade of C or higher and ESOL 0052 with a grade of C or higher.
