This course introduces the student to the Linux operating system. Topics include basic/intermediate commands, file/directory structure and management, file/directory security, redirection, pipes, variables and aliases. The course also covers the necessary core Linux concepts and practical usage in order to work effectively in this operating system environment. Recommendation(s): CTSA 1001 with a grade of "C" or higher or concurrently enrolled or proof of current A+ certification or demonstrated, relevant work experience.
