This course will introduce students to the methods of social science inquiry with an emphasis on how to analyze social trends and propose solutions to social problems facing our world within local, national, and/or global communities. Students will learn about social scientific concepts, theories, and research as they investigate the dynamic processes of understanding and sharing meaning in diverse contexts. (3 credits).
