This unique business course focuses on the relationships within healthcare organizations and techniques for being an effective leader in this field. Throughout this course, learners will review communication strategies and coaching methods. Discussion will emphasize leading change in the healthcare system, ongoing program and performance evaluation, strategic planning and implementing a plan for quality improvement. Students will participate in 45 hours of a practicum experience focusing on administrative leadership initiatives. Pre-requisites: HCM 305
