General overview of practical skills needed within the field of Clinical Small Animal Veterinary Medicine. Students complete the course with a better understanding of some expected skills of a veterinary assistant and how to perform them. Students successfully completing this course have the opportunity to complete an externship over Winter session in a small animal veterinary hospital to continue their training.
