Study and practical application of the fundamental concepts of play directing: play selection, script analysis and interpretation, artistic choices, articulation of ideas, communication with actors, and critique. Rehearsal and presentation of realistic scenes. Offered winter semester even-numbered years. Prerequisites: THE 151, and THE 161, and (either THE 250 or THE 261), or by permission of instructor.
