Students will explore current issues and trends impacting the respiratory care profession locally, nationally, and internationally. Synthesizing knowledge acquired from the major core courses and reflecting on their career goals, students will develop a project in an area of interest culminating in a professionally written paper and presentation. Offered fall semester. Prerequisites: Completion of general education Foundations - Writing, senior standing, and achievement of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
