This course is designed to introduce the student to abdominal diagnostic medical sonography. This course will cover specific protocols for the investigation of the abdomen through the use of sonography. Specific anatomic and pathologic information necessary for the clinical practice of abdominal diagnostic medical sonography will be discussed. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to diagnostic medical sonography - general concentration. Corequisites: RIU 320, RIU 321, RIU 331, and RIU 360.
