Theoretical foundations and clinical applications of applied Doppler diagnostic medical sonographic physics and instrumentation for abdominal, obstetric-gynecology, echocardiography, vascular, and breast imaging. Quality assurance testing and introduction to bioeffects are included. An emphasis on the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers' examination is part of this course. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: RIU 320, RIU 321.
