This course provides information related to fundamental concepts of medical and health informatics methods and techniques involved in the integration of computer systems in medical centers, specifically radiologic centers. Students will be introduced to health information systems, data representation and standards, privacy, security, and management of health information. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the radiation therapy program.
