Advanced laboratory experiments in physical and analytical chemistry. Topics include chemical and physical equilibrium, chemical kinetics, spectroscopy and molecular structure, experimental design, and instrumental analysis. One hour of lecture and four hours of lab per week. Offered winter semester of even-numbered years. Prerequisites: CHM 221 and CHM 352 (CHM 352 may be taken concurrently).
