This course introduces students to evidence-based medicine and research design concepts, while emphasizing the examination of the best available evidence as a basis for clinical decision-making. Students will develop the skills to perform medical literature searches yielding evidence-based results. Methods for appraising medical literature will be emphasized. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the physician assistant studies program.
