Knowledge from liberal education and the discipline of nursing is applied to the care of child-bearing and child-rearing families. Students collaborate with health team members in a variety of obstetric and pediatric settings to expand skills in clinical reasoning, therapeutic nursing interventions, and communication. Offered winter and spring/summer semesters. Prerequisites: NUR 332 NUR 333, NUR 335, and either NUR 336 or NUR 338. Corequisites: NUR 442 and NUR 445.
