The course is an introductory course for health care providers in addition to those having an interest in the root cause of disease. The course will explore the principles of Lifestyle Medicine, focusing on the population and the relationship of the environment and other associated causes leading to chronic disease. Topics such as Diabetes, Obesity, Heart Disease, and the correlation to lifestyle habits will be further investigated. The course will dive deeper into the pillars of lifestyle medicine: Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, Emotional wellbeing, Avoiding substances, Positive psychology, Hydration, and more.
