Emphasis is placed on drug classifications and the role of the practical nurse in providing nursing care related to the safe administration of medications to individual patients across the age span. Acceptance into the Practical Nursing Program AND experience as a nursing assistant as guided by the PN application packet AND current American Heart Association Basic Life Support AND current clear Minnesota Department of Health criminal background check
