Students will learn about therapeutic effects of cannabis, including its use in dependency, anorexiaand cachexia in cancer patients, emesis, pain, migraines, muscle spasticity disorders, movementdisorders, glaucoma, gynecology, dermatology, and the cardiovascular system. This course will alsocover the risks and side effects, from a clinical perspective, of cannabis use during pregnancy, to theimmune system, psyche and cognition, and the respiratory system.
