The study and application of physical-chemical principles that are necessary for the design, development, and preparation of pharmaceutical dosage forms. The study of quantitative skills necessary for an understanding of the basic and clinical pharmaceutical sciences, including skills in pharmaceutical calculations and extemporaneous preparation of dosage forms. lecture: three hours per week.
