The encouragement, management, and culture to promote an innovative work environment places specific demands on leadership. After an exploration of popular innovation theory, organizations and companies whose novel adoptions have transformed their contexts and industries will be identified, discussed, and evaluated. Lessons for tomorrow's leaders will be inferred.
