The focus of this non-MnTC college-level course will be on creating job seeking and workplace documents, presentations, and other written communication that include appropriate information, language, and tone for specific audiences and contexts, using appropriate technologies and the conventions of Standard Edited American English. Focus areas will include a combination of the following: descriptions, summaries, work orders, career search correspondence (e.g. job search engines, internship/application letters, resumes, etc.), workplace letters and emails, text messages, and presentations.
