This course is appropriate for employees in healthcare, manufacturing and a variety of industrial settings. OSHA 10 General Industry training provides the knowledge needed for workers to predict, prevent, identify and stop common worksite hazards. In addition, this course will provide the training needed for students to recognize and respond to life threatening emergencies. This includes understanding how to perform Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED on all age groups, how to assist conscious or unconscious choking adults, children or infants and how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator. Students must attend all class sessions in order to be eligible for certification. (Prereq: None) (BP/EP) 2 cr
