This course aligns with the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council`s (MSSC) assessment and certification system for Safety. The curriculum is based upon federally endorsed national standards for production workers including Occupational Safety Health Association (OSHA) standards relating to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout (LOTO), Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), tool safety, and confined spaces. Students will take the MSSC Safety and Employability 4.0 certification exam upon completion of the course content. (Prereq: None) (BP/EP) 2 cr
