This course introduces the student to the development and regulation of drugs and vaccines and their use in veterinary medicine. Commonly used drugs are studied using a body systems approach. Calculation of drug dosages is emphasized and techniques for medication administration to canine and feline patients are also covered. Prerequisites: COMS1020, HEAL1502, ENGL1150, BIOL1540, and acceptance into VET TECH Program.
