Students will focus on concepts related to women's and men's health. Topics covered will include anatomy and physiology of human reproductive systems, ethical issues in women's and men's health, formulating critical thinking skills in the face of new medical findings presented to society and biological concepts of common medical issues faced by women/men. Specific topics may include, menopause, prostate health, hair loss, mental health, pregnancy and current media issues in the face of health care experiments. Lab like experiences will be included in the teaching of these topics through simulations, case-studies and more. Meets MnTC Goals 2, 3 & 9
