Through writing, reflection, and presentation, students will explore the basic tenets of the world's major religions, who founded the religion, their main writings or scriptures, and their philosophical underpinnings concerning such issues as definition of religion, the existence of God/gods, faith, reason, ceremonial practices, and their relationship with the world.
