Students study the evaluation of hearing for adults and children, including pure tone audiometry, clinical masking, speech audiometry, clinical immittance measures, and screening procedures. Disorders of the outer, middle, and inner ear that affect hearing and balance are addressed. Prerequisites/Restrictions: COMD 3400 or COMD 3800 with a grade of C or better Admission to the Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education major
