This course introduces the construction management, water resource, and site/transportation disciplines of civil engineering. Students work in teams to develop preliminary and final designs for a site design project. As part of the team project, students participate in a design charrette in which teams present their preliminary designs to stakeholders. Based on stakeholder feedback, teams complete a final design. A significant emphasis of Springer I is on oral communication skills. Preq: ENGR 2100 with a grade of C or higher. Coreq: CE 2101.
