Covers the rehabilitative services and special care services as it pertains to the nursing facility This course discusses Health Care Financial Administration (HCFA) and State Rules and Regulations, Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) ??? Medicare???s System of Payment, Long-Term Care in the Rehab Continuum, Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA) Regulations and Restraint Reduction. This course is one of 16 required course modules, mandated by the PA State Board of Nursing Home Administrators, that make up the 120-hour Nursing Home Administrator certificate program for those desiring to become a nursing home administrator. This course may be taken as part of the full program or as a standalone for those individuals desiring continuing education units.
