Introduces management and education in the clinical laboratory. This course provides an overview of healthcare reimbursement, job design, cost accounting, performance appraisals, compliance, budgets, staffing, scheduling, education and training, and preparing for inspections. Enrollment is restricted to students in the Medical Laboratory Technician AS program. Non-majors need permission of the Program Director. Prerequisite: MLT 124, 222, and 224 with grades of C or higher.
