This fast-paced 112-hour program is designed to teach students how to interpret industrial schematics and assembly drawings, work with precision measuring tools and measurements, set-up machinery and equipment to produce assigned parts on traditional lathes and mills as well as automated machining equipment using computer numerical control (CNC) programming. Students will learn basic and intermediate machining operations and learn how to spot defects and contribute to quality control.
