This class is designed to provide the participant with a working knowledge of fuel cell technology. Training begins with the theory behind electrochemical energy, thermodynamics and fuel cell efficiency and electrode kinetics. Participants will conduct eight experiments to reinforce the learning they receive in the lecture portion of the class. Within these experiments, participants will use a flow diagram and learn to set-up, start-up, and shut-down a working hydrogen fuel cell system.
