This 20 hour course will provide operations level information and a skills as it pertains to vehicle rescue incidents. Topics include incident management , tools and equipment, vehicle anatomy/design, hazard control, patient access, care, packaging, disentanglement, extrication and termination. Upon completion of this course the student will be eligible to complete the PA Joint Rescue Program Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician Examination. Minimum age of students on first day of class: 18.
