Prepares the high school student who might be the first person at the scene of a trauma or medical emergency, to provide immediate care of life threatening injuries or illness, control the scene, and prepare for the ambulance arrival. The training is divided into the following sections: Preparatory, Airway, Patient Assessment, Trauma, Special Patient Populations, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Operations.
