Today???s changing workforce requires creative and adaptive skills to not only meet our day-to-day job obligations successfully, but to also maneuver in a whole new world of interpersonal communication, leadership, and conflict management with professional and effective tactics. This introductory course is directed at individuals that have no prior experience working remotely and need essential skills and tools for success. This course layers various elements and knowledge points regarding personal success as well as modifying our approaches to meet the needs of others in this virtual workplace. Learning activities include lecture and discussion regarding workplace realities and preparatory actions for maximum organization and planning, coaching interactions to guide learner to find personal growth and overcome barriers, and finally a focus on leadership and team-building actions that meet the needs of employees.
