Provides Human Resource professionals, small business owners and other individuals who may engage in pre-employment screenings with the most effective types of background checks, the policies, procedures and practices required to ensure that these checks meet state and federal laws. This course addresses the importance of data safety and security when discussing the following types of checks: criminal background, credit, neighborhood, reference, internet/social networking and past employment/military. This course is presented remotely via the Zoom platform with breaks and interactive sessions included.
