Introduces participants to the diagnosis of 8, 9, and 10 speed automatic transmissions. This course presents an overview of transmission components and their functions. Transmissions road testing and electronic diagnostic testing is also covered. Lastly, the fast learn procedure for transmission programming is also discussed. There are hands-on components with this course, consisting of several instructor-led demonstrations and a number of workstations with desk, bench, and vehicle exercises.
