Prerequisite: BMGT 201. Course Description 1. Develop an expanded view of labor and employment regulations and laws affecting the workplace. 2. Build their knowledge of labor and employment regulations and laws in the workplace in making employment decisions. 3. Generate information about the labor and employment regulations and laws that will allow them to communicate effectively with the local, state and federal agencies. 4. Evaluate examples of a workplace's written labor and employment plans and procedures to help determine if the workplace is in compliance and what changes should be made if necessary. 5. Evaluate and inspect current employment laws, trends in the law and how to stay current.
