This course is a continuation of Fundamentals of Motion Graphics and Visual Effects. It covers further understanding of motion graphics animation and design techniques and principles, compositing, 2D character animation, and introduction of 3D animation related to the field of motion graphics. Prerequisite: DIGI 210. Course Objectives Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: (1) Further the understanding of motion graphics animations and their creation. (2) Articulate, demonstrate principles related to the design and animation of motion graphics. (3) Discuss analytically and critically motion graphics from a technical, aesthetic, and application perspective. (4) Develop a more advanced working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. (5) Develop a working knowledge of 3D motion graphics software.
