Study and practical experience at the WPPJ radio studio emphasizing the basic elements of radio program production and direction, including technical aspects, basic programming, scripting and the development of audio materials. Prerequisite: COMM 110. Course Objectives (1) Learn basic radio production terminology, procedures, music copyright and mechanical rights and practices (2) Learn how to do simple voice recording and editing, producing a single track 3-minute feature production (3) Learn how to mix multiple sound sources together to produce a :60 broadcast standard commercial or Public Service Announcement (4) Produce a broadcast standard multi-track 5-minute program
