An advanced class for the fourth year musical theatre major. Emphasis is given to further developing the skills required for the various styles of musical theater and expanding the repertoire in preparation for entering the profession. Prerequisite: THEA 322, 337, 338, and B.F.A. Musical Theatre Majors Only. Course Objectives Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to: (1) Demonstrate specific acting styles for the major periods and genres of musical theatre. (2) Develop performance repertory and techniques for use in auditions. (3) Build the skills needed for musical theatre auditions.
