This course will focus on the application of healthy vocal technique, ear training, sight singing, and solo and ensemble singing. Course Objectives (1) Demonstrate an understanding of healthy technique through vocal exercises and application to repertoire. (2) Design and model a consistent routine for independent practice. (3) Utilize musical and vocal terminology in song interpretation. (4) Sight-sing simple melodies and rhythms. (5) Harmonize in duet and ensemble singing.
