4801. Methods of Foreign Language Teaching. Methods of teaching World Languages (P-12) that are focused on developing students' target language communicative proficiency and are based on the ACTFL World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages (W-RSLLs). Course concentrates on engaging students in the Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational Modes of Communication, Integrated Performance Assessments (IPAs), and the integration of technology into World Language teaching. This course requires 80 hours of field experience in a local high school. Prereq.: Permission of the Department Chair. 3 s.h.
