This course is the capstone clinical experience for the histotechnician student. During this final practicum, the student will build upon their previous clinical experience to demonstrate competency in histology skills and demonstrate readiness for entry-level employment. Additional specialized laboratory techniques, immunohistochemistry, safety, quality control and professional issues will be covered.
