The purpose of this course is for the histotechnician student to build upon the concepts learned in Histotechnology Staining Techniques (HTT 210)and acquire the theoretic knowledge needed to perform advanced procedures used in a histology laboratory. In this course, specialized laboratory techniques, safety, quality, and professional topics will be addressed. The course will cover special stains and procedures used in the histology laboratory.
