The purpose of this course is to build on Introduction to Histology(HTT-110) and prepare the histology technician student for the clinical experience in the summer semester of the program. In this course, general laboratory techniques, safety and professional issues will be reviewed and expanded upon. Contemporary topics in histology will be discussed. The course will cover introductory basic concepts and procedures used in each of the major areas of the histology laboratory.
