Focuses on continued development of strategies for health promotion, disease prevention, and management of adults experiencing Selected acute and chronic diseases. Integrate concepts of population health and theoretical and scientific underpinnings of integrated healthcare delivery with diverse populations, including an emphasis on patient safety, family-centered care, inter-professional collaboration and care transitions during the wellness-illness continuum. Concepts and exemplars of illness/disease will address oxygenation, acid-base balance, movement, perfusion, cerebral regulation, tissue integrity, sensory perception, and rehabilitation. PREREQ: NURS322 and NURS330. COREQ: NURS322, NURS330, NURS353, and NURS365. RESTRICTIONS: Nursing majors only.
