Presents methods for the design and control of electromechanical devices that interact physically with humans to improve biomechanical performance, such as prostheses and exoskeletons. Topics include technologies for sensing and actuation, fundamentals of analog and digital control, methods for the analysis of biological signals such as EMG and of biosignal-based control for human-robot interaction. A mix between standard Lectures, laboratory experiments and a final project. PREREQ: BMEG310 or MEEG112, and BMEG311 or MEEG211, and ELEG305 or MEEG311.
