This course will orient students to the professional pilot career. The Helicopter Flight Simulator course will give students hands-on experience, knowledge and training for the real-world experience of helicopter flight. Students will become familiar with the basic skills needed to fly a helicopter including preflight operations, navigating, takeoffs, climbs, descents, landing and much more. It will highlight flight in airport environments, enroute, industry scenarios and dealing with ATC. Flight simulation provides a safe and low stress way to learning some of the basic aviation skills that students will need as a pilot.
